Members of the chair of International Economics supervise Master’s theses in the following areas:

  • International Macroeconomics and Finance
  • Economic Growth and Development
  • Political Economy

Students are encouraged to contact Prof. Harms ( to discuss potential topics early on. In a first meeting, you should be able to clearly specify your areas of expertise and interest, and you are, of course, welcome to suggest a topic of your choice.
