Members of the chair of International Economics supervise Master’s theses in the following areas:
- International Trade
- International Macroeconomics and Finance
- Economic Growth and Development
- Political Economy
Students are encouraged to contact Prof. Harms (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss potential topics early on. In a first meeting, you should be able to clearly specify your areas of expertise and interest, and you are, of course, welcome to suggest a topic of your choice.
We also strongly recommend the general reflections on academic writing (including an excellent list of references) provided by Konstantin Wacker, a former colleague at JGU Mainz, now at the University of Groningen (Netherlands): https://sites.google.com/rug.nl/kmwacker/home/student-resources/paperwriting
